Japanese KitKat Sizes
In reading the Amazon comments for the below Japanese Kit Kats, I wanted to ensure that people were clear on the size of the chocolate bars you are purchasing.
All of the Japanese KitKats detailed below are either Mini Bars or Single Bars. A Mini Bar consists of a small 0.4 oz / 12 gram bar, which is substantially smaller than a standard Australian or USA Kit Kat. Single Bars are also small in size when compared with standard KitKat bars.
By comparison, an Australian Standard KitKat weighs 1.94 oz / 55 grams. Below is a photo comparing the sizes. Be aware that Japanese KitKats are much more highly flavored than western style Kit Kats so a single small KitKat is a really satisfying experience.
